Chat with Auli
Connecting with the world, one chat at a time.
During the pandemic, like many people, I have missed regular social interaction. I heard someone recently say that the thing they miss most about their pre Covid-19 existence is their adhoc contact with acquaintances; relationships that are shaped by friendly enquiries about their health and work, tentative plans to meet and spontaneous conversations.
We are social creatures, who thrive on social connection. The pandemic has often robbed us of this important source or energy.
I have always been a natural conversationalist and fascinated by other people. When we truly listen to other people we allow ourselves to go on a journey of reflection and discovery. Sometimes, we can learn truths from one conversation, that could otherwise take a lifetime to learn through research and study. The power of shared laughter and experience helps to keep worry and stress at bay.
When I was offered the chance to get involved with Rangoli Radio, I recognised the potential to connect with people again, to meet people who I would otherwise never see in my daily life and to be inspired by other peoples stories and truth.
My programme, ‘Chat with Auli’, harnesses the power of conversation and I hope will keep you company.
In my programmes, I meet a wide range of people from across the community who share about their work, the things that inspire them, the challenges they face and details about their daily rhythms and routines. There is laughter, connection and hope in my programmes.
So, welcome, you are so welcome and if you ever fancy a chat with me, just reach out, as I will be listening.
