Memories and Melodies

Every day is special if we think so, every moment is memorable if we feel so and everyone is unique if we see so. “Memories and Melodies” is currently a one-hour presentation in English, with various Indian multi-lingual songs from different genres relevant to the program’s subject.

We would have read, heard or learned numerous exciting things during our childhood days or earlier years. However, with time we may not remember them well or may even have forgotten them. This program shall hopefully take the listeners down their memory lanes.

The show is generally about the recollection of various events that happen during the month - for example, celebrating the life of an eminent personality like a musician, actor, film director, sportsperson, patriotic leader, etc. The listeners may also get some information regarding festivals, special occasions, significant historical or a current event.

The simple aim of this program is to revive a few of those nostalgic memories and enjoy some music. Along with information and entertainment, the show also occasionally reflects upon some of the moral values of life, gaining motivation from the inspiring lives of the past and present legends from various fields and a few interesting aspects of some of the festivals and events.

Hope the listeners from anywhere across the world will be able to relax and enjoy the program.
