Rajal Naik
Goodness Gracious Guruji
Each regular programme comprises three sections, mythological stories, Hinduism and science. There are also specials on serious health issues prevalent in the Asian community.
The story sections are drawn from religious mythological texts, such as the Shiv puran, Ramayan, Krishna lila, and Mahabharat to name a few. There is an added twist with special effects to bringing the stories to life for the younger listeners.
Hinduism is based on mine and my mother Padmaben Dolatrai Naik’s research and is explored from a new and fresh perspective. Each episode explores everyday rituals or practices, revealing the significance and the embedded meaning behind them. This section is aimed at teenagers and young parents, the information aiding to educate the young listeners on the principles of The Sanatan Dharma, in a light, contemporary minimalistic way.
The final section on Science is there to mainly entertain our young listeners, with everyday ‘Kitchen Science’. Each week there is a fun science project, followed by hard scientific facts related to it. Each project is then posted on social media to try out under parental supervision.
The Health Specials explore various issues with a panel of experts who aim to inform, giving insight into serious conditions that are prevalent in the Asian society. Each special explores in detail the seriousness and treatability of the condition.
